Lakisha Roberts-Gonzalez
College Success Consultant & Mentor
Lakisha Roberts-Gonzalez is a seasoned college consultant with more than 11 years of experience guiding students and their families through the transition from high school to higher education. With over 25 years of experience in the field of social work, she brings a deep understanding of human development, family dynamics, and student advocacy to her work. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Montclair State University and a Master of Social Work from Marywood University, Lakisha combines academic expertise with a passion for empowering students and educating parents throughout the college journey.
As a proud mother of four sons, Lakisha’s personal experiences have further enriched her professional perspective. Her sons have attended respected institutions, including Howard University, American University, Bloomsburg University, Temple University, and Kutztown University. Through both her professional and personal experiences, she has gained firsthand knowledge of the opportunities, challenges, and transitions that students and families encounter throughout the college process.
Lakisha believes that providing students with the right tools, mentorship, and support creates a strong foundation for success. She also believes that educating and empowering families to navigate the college experience strengthens that foundation and enhances students’ success.
